OExpertise and optimization of the refractory lining. Brockstone gives you a “second opinion” concerning repairs/improvements.
Follow up
The follow-up from the refractory installation and from the heating-up gives you an extra insurance that the lining was installed as it should be and that the heating-up took place correctly.
Product testing
Brockstone is able to control if products meet the specifications. If necessary a more profound analysis is also possible. Then Brockstone works together with one or more specialized laboratories to determine chemical analysis, density and porosity, cold crushing strength, hot modulus of rupture, heat conductivity, …
Charge book
Brockstone investigates together with you which are the process-parameters which have an influence on choice of refractory. We determine which technical parameters have to be mentioned in the price proposal concerning products, anchors, installation method and heating up , taking into account guaranty-demands, maintenance-specifications and security-matters.
Analysis of proposal
Based on know-how in refractories and in metallurgy and as an independent expert Brockstone analyses with a critical mind; product-choice, installation method, heating-up curve, anchoring, etc…. Brockstone helps you in making the best technical and economical choices.
Thermal calculations
Brockstone has the ability and the tools to realize thermal calculations for any kind of refractory lining. By determining the interface temperatures and the heat losses in different refractory linings, Brockstone helps you to optimize the thermal yield of your installation.
(Online) training
Brockstone is also a valuable partner for specialized training in refractory knowledge of your staff. Brockstone organizes first acquaintance courses or specialized courses with focuses on practical experiences.

- Locations can be chosen and lab-visit with life material-testing is possible.
CAD Drawings
Brockstone works together with his partner Eurocom for the realization of your as-built drawings, whereby all details of the refractory lining are shown. The newest software version is used allowing 3D-drawings. These drawings can, if needed, be incorporated in your charge books.
